Description

A chilled, no-fuss tuna pasta salad with crisp tomatoes and celery. Made with pantry staples, light mayonnaise, and Italian dressing for a balanced, ready-to-eat meal that’s perfect for lunches or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

1 (12-ounce) package macaroni
3 medium tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and diced
3 celery stalks, chopped
1 (12-ounce) can tuna, drained
1 ½ cups light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Italian-style salad dressing
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 pinch ground black pepper

Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook macaroni until al dente (8–10 minutes).
Rinse cooked macaroni under cold water and drain thoroughly.
In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, diced tomatoes, chopped celery, and drained tuna.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, Italian dressing, sugar, and pepper.
Pour dressing over pasta mixture and mix until well combined.
Transfer to refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Substitute Italian dressing with a mix of olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs for a non-dairy option.
