Description

A refreshing fruit salad with a vibrant mix of strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, grapes, kiwis, and mandarin oranges, all tossed in a simple honey lime dressing. Perfect as a light side dish or healthy breakfast.

Ingredients

1 lb fresh strawberries, chopped
1 lb fresh pineapple, chopped
12 oz fresh blueberries
12 oz red grapes, halved
4 kiwis, peeled and chopped
3 mandarin oranges (or one 15 oz can, drained well)
2 bananas, sliced (optional)
1/4 cup honey
2 teaspoons lime zest (zest of 2 medium limes)
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Instructions

Add the chopped strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, halved grapes, kiwis, and mandarin oranges to a large mixing bowl.
In a separate small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, lime zest, and fresh lime juice until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the honey lime dressing over the prepared fruit.
Gently toss the ingredients to ensure every piece of fruit is evenly coated.
Serve the salad immediately after tossing to enjoy the best texture.

Notes

If using canned mandarin oranges, make sure they are well drained to avoid thinning the dressing.
Bananas are optional and should only be added if serving immediately to prevent browning.
You can prepare the fruit and dressing a day in advance; store separately and toss just before serving.
