Description

A quick and comforting layer of macaroni, creamy chicken soup, and melted Cheddar, topped with crispy French fried onions. Ready in 45 minutes and perfect for busy weeknights, serving up to 8.

Ingredients

3 cups cooked macaroni
1 (5-ounce) can tuna, drained
1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup French fried onions
1 cup frozen peas (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, combine cooked macaroni, tuna, condensed soup, and frozen peas if using.
Spread the mixture evenly and layer shredded cheddar cheese overtop.
Bake for 25 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges bubble.
Remove from oven and evenly sprinkle French fried onions on the surface.
Return to oven and bake for 5 additional minutes until onions are crisp.

Notes

Optional: Use frozen peas for added texture and nutrition
Storage: Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days
High-calcium bone-in tuna is ideal for better protein content
Crispy onions may burn if baked too long at the end
